Swedish Driving Theory Book Translation to Khmer

Help Cambodian immigrants in Sweden obtain their driver's license by translating the Swedish driving theory book (Körkortsboken) into Khmer.

Why This Matters

Getting a driver's license in Sweden is essential for employment and daily life, but the language barrier makes it extremely difficult for many Cambodians to study and pass the theory test. This volunteer translation project aims to make driving theory accessible in Khmer.

What We're Translating

The complete Swedish driving theory book, covering: - Traffic rules and regulations - Road signs and their meanings - Safe driving practices - Environmental driving - First aid basics

How You Can Help

We need volunteers with: - Strong Swedish and Khmer language skills (bilingual proficiency) - Translation experience (helpful but not required) - Time commitment of a few hours per week - Passion for helping our community

No professional certification needed - just dedication and language skills!

Project Progress

We're currently organizing volunteers and dividing the book into manageable sections. Each volunteer will translate assigned chapters, and experienced members will review translations for accuracy.
